We are now looking for a skilled Industrial Automation Engineer to join an innovative and growth-oriented team at one of our partner companies. As an Industrial Automation Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and deploying industrial automation systems. You’ll work closely with engineers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure the systems are reliable, efficient, and future-proof.

Core responsibilities:

• Design, implement, test, and deploy industrial automation systems as part of a collaborative development team
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of automation solutions, from planning to commissioning
• Participate in programming, configuration, and optimization of PLCs and HMIs
• Support system integration and ensure functionality in live industrial environments

Must-have requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in industrial automation
• 2+ years of hands-on PLC programming experience
• Experience with industrial design tools, such as Siemens, Beckhoff, ABB, ALMA, AVEVA, COMOS, Valmet DNA or similar
• Experience in HMI development
• Good communication skills in English

Good-to-have requirements:

• Experience with SCADA systems
• Experience with design/testing/deployment of industrial automation systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, C#
• Experience with industrial simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB, Simulink)
• Background/education in automation or electrical engineering
• Experience in commissioning industrial automation systems
• Proficiency in Finnish language
